Rugstorm Warranty Policy
1. General Terms
This warranty policy is provided by Rugstorm and applies to tablets and their electronic and non-electronic accessories (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Products") sold by us or our authorized sales partners.
2. Standard Warranty
Tablets: Enjoy a 3-year standard warranty from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period").
Accessories: Enjoy a 3-year standard warranty from the date of purchase.
3. Extended Warranty Service (Applicable to Tablets Only)
We offer extended warranty service for 3 or 5 years from the date of purchase. Extended warranty does not cover battery packs and accessories and must be purchased within the 2-year standard warranty period from the date of tablet purchase.
4. Warranty Period
Tablets: We warrant the tablet can be repaired for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.
Electronic Accessories: We warrant the electronic accessory can be repaired for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase
Repair and Replacement: Within the limits of applicable law, Rugstorm reserves the right to choose to repair defective Products free of charge using new or refurbished replacement parts, or to replace the Products with new Products, or with Products made from new or repairable used parts and at least functionally equivalent to the original Products. Upon replacement, the replaced Products or parts shall become your property and the replaced items shall become the property of Rugstorm. Parts provided by Rugstorm to fulfill its warranty obligations must be used in Products requiring warranty service.
Data Loss: During the repair process, it may be necessary to reset or replace the system's mass storage, or restore the operating system in the storage media to its original factory settings. During this process, all data stored on the mass storage media may be deleted. Any warranty plan (including standard and extended warranties) does not cover such potential data loss. The responsibility for protecting data on the device rests entirely with the user or customer. It is strongly recommended that you perform a data backup before submitting the device for repair.
5. Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies only to Products with genuine product serial numbers and covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During this period, we will repair or replace, free of charge, Products or Product parts that are defective due to faulty materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
6. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover any problems or damage caused by:
Conditions other than defects in materials or workmanship;
Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, modification, unauthorized repair;
Failure to follow the product instructions;
Other force majeure factors.
7. Claims Process
To obtain warranty service, please contact us first, and we will assist you in identifying the problem and providing the best solution. Please keep your purchase receipt and other relevant information as proof of purchase date.
8. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any costs, attorney's fees, expenses, losses, or delays (including but not limited to any claims for loss of profits) arising from the damage, malfunction, or defect of any Product.
9. Changes to the Warranty Policy
